LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS

CONTACT PASTOR CARSON BURNS

M.O.B. (Ministry Outside the Box) - M.O.B. is one way we fulfill the Great Commandments and Commission of Jesus Christ. During these opportunities our youth leave church grounds and take our ministry out into the community. Here we invite others to participate with us in worship, service, fellowship, and more. We also use this time to love others through acts of service. This not only spreads the love and gospel of Jesus Christ but helps teach our youth how to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Located on the same block as the church, we are often engaged in local mission opportunities with/through the Abilene Baptist Association (ABA). The purpose of the ABA is to assist member churches individually and cooperatively in carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Our very own pastor, Mike Woodard, is on the leadership team of the ABA as it seeks to fulfill this mission and purpose. If you'd like to learn more about what the ABA is doing or will be doing in the future, check out their website by clicking here or stop by their office at 2058 Marshall Street here in Abilene for more info!

The Kairos Prison Ministry is an outreach and evangelism ministry to lost souls in our very own community. They may not live in our neighborhoods, but the inmates of our area live a stones throw away at Robertson. The Kairos ministry goes into prisons like Robertson and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ to folks who are often forgotten or given up on. If you're interested in being apart of this ministry, contact the church office and we'll put you in contact with the leader of this ministry at Southwest Park, Melvin Dudley. The video below is a testament to the ministry that Kairos does year in and year out.
