Sundays at 9:15 AM for all ages

Sunday School

We offer developmentally specific discipleship for all ages, including kids! Through the "Explore the Bible Series" our children get to walk through some of the greatest stories in scripture. Not only do they learn some of the most important lessons is scripture but they study the same passages as their parents and siblings. This gives families more opportunity to have spiritual conversations at home! It's just one way that we try to empower parents to lead their child spiritually and foster their growth!

His Little Kids

Southwest Park Baptist Church's Mother's Day Out program also
known as "His Little Kids" is a wonderful opportunity for children ages
8 weeks through Pre-K. His Little Kids provides a developmentally
appropriate atmosphere to nurture your child's spiritual, emotional,
social and cognitive growth. Our program includes a Bible curriculum
as well as Early Childhood curriculum based on guidelines provided
by the National Association for Early Childhood Education.

Some of the activities your students would experience include: arts & crafts, guided play, music, Bible lessons, story time, and cooking. These activities help build motor, social, cognitive
and language development in young children.

Our priority at Southwest Park is to show your child the love of God in a safe, educational, Christian atmosphere. Every classroom is staffed by two teachers, so that they may focus on giving your little one the individualized attention they deserve.  We want to ignite in them an excitement for learning and for following God's plan for their precious life.

We have paused our program until the fall. Please check back for updates! There is a $75 registration fee that will cover your child's supplies for the year. Our tuition for full enrollment is $145 a month, or for one day a week is $75 a month. There is also a "drop-in" option which is $20 a day (not available at this time). We do offer a 10% (after the first child) discount for families with multiple children enrolled in our program. We also offer a special foster family discount (please speak with the director.)  We ask that you call ahead and arrange with the director on dates you you like to drop in your child to make sure there is availability.

Please contact the His Little Kids Director, Denise Neal, with any questions at 325-692-3296.

Children in Action

Children in Action

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30

In August 2017, we moved to the Children in Action mission education organization that is part of the WMU curriculum.  Our Mission Education teachers are excited about this new direction combining the boys and girls and then dividing them by age groups to allow for age appropriate teaching/learning activities. Children in Action is an exciting and fun-filled coed missions education organization for boys and girls in grades 1–5.

Through Children in Action, boys and girls gain a greater understanding of God’s work in the world and how they can join Him in His work. Children in Action learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God’s Son, Jesus

Countless boys and girls have been a part of Children in Action since it began in 1995. These children grow into adults who impact their world for Christ. Many lives have been changed as children and their leaders have prayed for, given to, and participated in mission education and hands-on mission involvement. As Children in Action meet and learn together, they “travel” to various places around the world learning about the work of missionaries, praying for others, learning what the Bible says about missions and serving others, and learning what they can do in their own communities to serve and share Jesus with others. Children in Action helps boys and girls gain a biblical worldview that challenges them to live a “missions” lifestyle everywhere they go and in whatever they may do.
